My New Shoes

My new shoes deserve a post dedicated entirely to them๐Ÿ˜

I’ve been lusting after these for a while now, so my lovely husband bought them for me as an early birthday gift๐Ÿ˜˜

I had seen them online, but really wanted to try them on, and see what they were like, and that I could walk, my balance is a little off already #PregnancyWoes ๐Ÿ™Š

We went to the Kurt Geiger store in the Victoria Square Shopping Centre on our recent trip to Belfast, and there they were, and even prettier in person than online!

No balance problems to report after trying on the coveted pair, so money was handed over, and Claire left the shop as a very happy girl๐Ÿ˜Š

I wore them last night to my friends 30th, and they were a dream to wear๐Ÿ™Œ

For those of you wishing to indulge, you can get them here.

As always, happy shopping

I love London

After another weekend in my favourite city, I’m already trying to figure out when I can go again ๐Ÿ˜‚

London is one of those places that you can return to over and over again, and still find new things to see!

We flew from Cork, and the first great bit of our trip was checking out the new MAC counter in the Airport. I liked Cork Airport before, but now I love it๐Ÿ˜Š

We flew into Stansted and got the Stansted Express into London. The Stansted Express is just so handy, and it comes all the way into Liverpool St, and from there you are on the underground๐Ÿ‘Œ

We stayed in The Grange St Paul’s. It was just perfect, stunning hotel, gorgeous rooms, several bars and restaurants, and in an excellent location.

On Saturday we went sight seeing, we saw Buckingham Palace, Trafalgar Square, Big Ben, The London Eye, The Tower Bridge and the Tower of London. We were wrecked after it! ๐Ÿ˜‚

Sunday was dedicated to shopping. We hit Oxford St. My Mecca. I just love it there! There are so many great shops and department stores, it’s like heaven ๐Ÿ™Š

We didn’t have enough shopping on Sunday so we hit Westfield in Stratford on Monday morning, now that is how I want to start my Monday in future ๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚

We flew back Stansted to Cork again (we hit the MAC counter on our way๐Ÿ™Š).

Until next time London!โœŒ๏ธ๐Ÿ‡ฌ๐Ÿ‡ง

Manchester We Love You

What a weekend!
We stayed in the Midland Hotel-it was just fantastic. Rooms were stunning, food was great and the location was just perfect. We seemed to be only a 5 minute walk/taxi ride from everywhere we wanted to go!
Tiger Tiger was our venue for most of Saturday. We went to Roller Disco!! It was the best fun, and of course we were in our 80s gear which was just hilarious!
On Sunday we hit the shops…wowsers the shopping did not disappoint! We went to the Arndale Shopping Centre. It was great, had all of our high street favourites, from River Island, to Top Shop and even Starbucks-because we all need a caffeine fix ๐Ÿ˜‹
We then hit Selfridges. It’s my personal favourite department store. I just feel happy in there! We got our MAC fix, and then browsed the wonders of Mulberry, Chanel, Tiffany and our true love Michael Kors.
We went for Cocktails in Mr Coopers at the Midland Hotel, and also went to Grand Pacific at Australasia and Neighbourhood.

We flew Shannon-Manchester with Ryanair.

All in all we had a ball, as did our gorgeous Hen๐Ÿ”๐Ÿ‘ฐ

Until next time Manchester!

40 Days Without Shopping – Day 1

Happy Ash Wednesday everyone!

As you will all know, today is the first day of Lent. Traditionally a time when people give up something, or many things, that they really love.

For me, that one thing, is shopping. I love it. I shop when I’m happy, sad, bored, lonely, excited, tired, you name an emotion and I will shop during it. Online shopping is a particularly dangerous habit for me. It’s just too accessible!

To say these 40 days are going to be tough is an understatement, but I’m going to give it a go!

I’ll be updating on a regular basis, so make sure to check back and see how I’m doing.

Wish me luck!!

Claire
